![]() ![]() ![]() The Leo North Node connection makes it easier to achieve higher awareness around how to follow your path of heart – the one you love – versus doing what everyone else expects you to do. Fire trines in general create a lot of vibrant energy, giving easier access to creativity and more desire to grab the gusto! With love and harmony Venus in this configuration expect vivacious charm to be involved and since she reaches out to jiggle Chiron’s key, she brings eagerness to open new doors to creative ideas and solutions. Venus is stationed next to the North Node on the Solstice which is also involved in this dynamic connection. ![]() The karmic North Node which represents a pathway toward more evolved ways of being is currently in Leo. Since 6/13 when Venus entered Leo she has been beaming rays to Chiron in Aries creating a fire trine, and on the Solstice this trine still vibrates. take advantage! Be willing to go deeper to feel and express your emotions and the benefits will follow!Īlong with this Grand Trine there are three other trines at the Solstice too! Very rare. So whether this manifests at actual family gatherings this season or springs from your own healing sessions with therapist, energy worker etc. ![]() Cancer is the sign governing family so this trine creates an excellent time to heal old family wounds. Since Mercury is involved this bodes well for good communication flow and allows for deeper reflection leading to better understanding and forgiveness. Mercury and Pallas reach out to Expansive Jupiter in Scorpio with a third angle closely connecting to Spiritual Neptune in Pisces creating a wonderful healing Grand Water Trine. As always the solstice moment is the exact time the Sun enters the healing waters of Cancer each year and this year communicator Mercury is in Cancer too along with asteroid Pallas Athena, the wise woman warrior to back him up. This is a beautiful chart! It does have some challenges but lovely connections predominate. The Solstice chart is the birth chart for this new season and indicates trends to expect. I’ll make some references to this later to give you a better idea. So although the major trends will be similar, they will manifest differently in different areas of the world. All the planets will be in the same signs at any given moment but the location for which the chart is cast determines the Ascendant (Rising sign) and places the planets in different houses, which has everything to do with interpretation. I also cast the Solstice chart for London so you can see how different places on the planet create a different chart. Here is the chart for the moment of the Solstice which I cast for Washington, DC EarthSky has Things to Notice at the June Solstice and also has an article about Solstice Celebrated at Stonehenge, and the good old Farmer’s Almanac always has good info. The June Solstice is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and is when the Sun enters the sign of Cancer each year. It is Winter Solstice for those in the Southern Hemisphere which arrives on June 21 at 8:07p AET The Summer Solstice arrives on June 21 at 10:07a Universal Time, 6:07a Eastern Time and 3:07a Pacific Time. To illustrate this Solstice issue, I used cards from one of my favorite Tarot decks, The Daughters of the Moon. The images on the cards say it all! IMAGE NOTE: Along with astrology the Tarot is also my craft and passion. ![]()
